I'm literally crying on my couch. The facial expressions, the anguish in everyone's faces - the EYES. The incorporation of the EYES into Ryder's demon form. I just can't stop rereading these panels

2023-03-27 10:50:11 +0000 UTCI have theories!!! #1) Amy would have died in the future he saw -short and to the point. #2) Something worse like everyone dies in like a BIG way ... IDK #3) Amy would have ended up in his position and because she doesn't have mind mage powers it would have been worse for her. Like Amy is fully gone and her body is no longer her's, maybe forever torture inside her own mind (kind of like the not-a-dream that Rhyder had (but worse)), instead of Ryder's lost memories, but still in "control" of his body and ability to "fight it" type stuff. #4) Something worse ... ? I think all of these are possible given the reaction, but mass murder of all Rhyder's friends and full no-coming-back possession of his girlfriend are the top contenders.
