From my understanding, I think Nan Heng's dialogue with his uncle, Chancellor Gao is so much more poetic if translated true to the words used by them. When his uncle suggested he marries both sisters, he actually answered, Nan Heng: My answer is still that same 2 words. Chancellor Gao then said: Shen hao (very good) However, in the flashback, Nan Heng actually previously give this answer to his uncle: Huang tang (absurd), so he is refering to this 2 words. Because both Huang tang (absurd) and Shen hao (very good) are 2 words, Song Yimeng thought the answer that Nan Heng give to his uncle is Shen Hao (because she didn't see the flashback like we do) and that created a misunderstanding that Nan Heng actually agreed with his uncle's plan. The translation of this conversation in this video still brings the same meaning and I think usually it is really good to have a simpler translation so that it is easier to understand the conversation. However, I think the way Nan Heng answer it is much more 'beautiful' and interesting for someone trying to learn the language. So I just wanted to share this with you too.
