Omg the best fucking thing to come home to after a shit day - I meant to post yesterday but the work day kicked my ass RO. MY HEART. RYDER'S FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. God I have so many FEELINGS. First: those nightmares suck, like legit I have had them and they are so fucking unsettling. This was so well drawn with such good color choice and panel balance - I could literally imagine that movie playing out like an old timey film reel Second: THAT OMNISCIENT BOOK THOUGH - who is he talking to?? The void?? Himself?? AND DOING IT FOR HIS FRIENDS - the question is WHY and I cannot wait to find out Third: I love how Ryder didn't just immediately remember everything despite these memory triggers, and he seems to be growing into an amalgamation of the Ryder we first met and the one that was initially Amy's partner. There is something also to be said about CHOOSING this fate, rather than being forced into it by the Ascended. He got out. And now he is jumping back in. Fourth: Charlotte 😭😭😭😭😭 our poor baby - God that broke my heart just kids going fucking missing like that and getting fucking experimented on. Heebie jeebies. Fifth: I wonder how Ryder will function as an exorcist, because he seems more built for support based on his powers we've seen so far. What kind of weapon will he have access to?? Can't wait for the next episode, this one was definitely worth the wait 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
