My first Worlds recap video is here!
Added 2023-10-15 16:11:36 +0000 UTCFinally, after nonstop editing, my first recap video is up! Deciding to split out the semifinals into another video was definitely the right decision - just getting this much finished really took everything out of me. I hope you like it:
I feel so much lighter already today. I spent an hour before the video published cleaning my apartment because I definitely neglected all of my chores while in the depths of editing, and it's so nice to be in a clean space again. Now I have to decide how to spend the rest of the day - I could film and edit the travel vlog, or I could get a jump start on editing the next video.
One struggle I had with this video was trying to figure out the title and thumbnail. I spent two hours last night just mocking up different thumbnail layouts because I couldn't figure out what angle I wanted to take. I'm going to be keeping an eye on the views and you may see it changing throughout the day if I decide to experiment with other options. I feel like Ravensburger and the contest organizers won't love me highlighting the missing pieces right in the thumbnail, but if that's the drama that gets more casual viewers to click on the video, I think it evens out. So we'll see.
Thank you for watching and I'd love to know what you think of the video and if there's any specific bonus content you'd be interested in seeing once I get the main videos finished (I'm thinking of editing just an Alejandro cut of all of the footage I have of him, since his puzzling skills are so amazing to watch).
