As you saw in my old outro last week, I had a lot more I wanted to say about Worlds, and as I kept thinking about it, there was way too much to fit into one video. So I made a follow-up all about the weird and specific things I'm doing to prepare for Worlds. Some of the info is specific to this competition, but I think a lot of it can be applied to any puzzle contests:

Just in case you didn't watch all the way to the end and are going to Worlds, an important change is that cutting tools ARE ALLOWED. Apparently some newer Ravensburger boxes are held together with stickers that are hard to get into with your hands. So the new rule is:
"Only letter openers, keys or other blunt objects may be used to open the plastic that covers the puzzles. Nothing sharp like scissors or box cutters as that could be dangerous to handle during a speed competition.”
The USA Jigsaw Puzzle Association put together a new and updated FAQ about Worlds which you can read here.
I'll be using my Instagram story and YouTube community page to share more specific info about the event as it gets closer, so keep an eye out!

Unfortunately I didn't have time to put together any additional exclusive videos this week. However, if you missed it the other day, I finally put up the Puzzle Camp recap video, which is a full 30 minutes long. You can watch that in the post I put up on Friday.
Next week I want to do something a little simpler so I have plenty of time to practice my speed puzzling right before I leave, so I'll be making a haul video of all of my new puzzles. There's another giant puzzle in this haul - can you guess which one? And I'm also going to be doing a lot of speed puzzling practice, so I'll see if I can film some of that for you guys too.
