Can we just do something fun? (Plus new exclusive puzzle vlog)

Hey Patreon. So let me tell you about today’s video. I bought this cork puzzle from Sarah Schuler and was so excited to solve it. As I say in the video, the cork puzzles from Jane Wooster Scott are some of my favorites. I won't lie, even though it was an easy puzzle to solve, it was kind of a difficult video to edit. But in the end, I think it turned out ok. You can watch it here:

And then I filmed an exclusive vlog which has a little bit of everything - a mini puzzle haul, a look at how I reset my studio between videos, and some clips about how I design my thumbnails:

(I'll be going back and forth between the cork thumbnail and the dramatic thumbnail, so don't be alarmed if you see them swapping until I figure out which one is the most clickable!)

Stay tuned, because I have a ton of footage from Puzzle Camp the other week. I definitely want to edit it into a recap video, and I’m sure I’ll be uploading some of the speed puzzling exclusively on here just for you guys. Just give me another week to sort through all of it!

And then, as I said in the video, I’ll be opening up the rare holographic puzzle next week. Usually when I look at a puzzle I’ll know a pretty good estimate of how long it’ll take. But it's driving me crazy that I haven’t seen the pieces yet and so I have no idea if I’ll be there for four hours or four days. I guess we’ll find out next week!

Oh, and if you missed it, I posted a TikTok reacting to a very rare vintage puzzle auction as the price went up and up and up. You will not believe what it ended up selling for. And, I found out who bought it.

And one more thing - tomorrow I'm getting a fairly high-profile shoutout. I'll be posting on my Instagram story about it, so stay tuned!

Thank you for letting me know!

Hi Karen, a quick note for your German patrons and maybe viewers in general: your puzzles are currently available on the official german Ravensburger website for 20% off! That leaves the big one at 44€ and the smaller one at under 14€, pretty great prices imo. Here: https://www.ravensburger.de/produkte/puzzle/erwachsenenpuzzle/gradient-cascade-1000p-17498/index.html I don't know how long the 20% are valid though!

Please reach out to Matt Parker from Stand Up Maths for the math puzzle. Tom Scott and him have either together before, so you have a contact to see if he'd be interested (which I'd be shocked if he wasn't).
