Where I've Been

Hi everyone, it's been a minute. Is this thing still on?

I wanted to just send out a quick update that I'm alive and...not totally well, but well enough.

So here's what happened. Two weeks ago, my family took a vacation to go on a cruise through Alaska. We've been working on this trip and planning it for about a year now, and it was so exciting to be able to see a new part of the world together. So that was the planned time off that I was hinting at on here.

Unfortunately, a few days into the trip, I got really sick. A headache, sore throat, cough, completely lost my voice for a few days, fatigue. (I tested multiple times for covid and was negative, plus no one else around me got sick, so I don't think it was that). So I finished the trip, but I missed some of our activities and spent a lot more time in bed than I planned.

Then when I got home a few days ago, I needed more time off to rest and recover, so I haven't been able to get back to work as quickly as I expected, and I also just haven't had the energy to put up any social media posts.

I did start filming the 9000 piece puzzle video again and worked on it all day yesterday, so that is definitely coming. But, the sky is very slow going, so we'll see  if I finish it in the next video or if I decide to just post what I've done and then eventually make a Part 4.

The tricky part there is that I've already signed on for a handful of brand deals in July, so I need to get to work on those and save my limited energy for those videos that are under contract. So I have to be very strategic about what I work on every day until I'm fully recovered.

Anyway, I'm planning to take another week off from social media, to save my energy for the main videos. I'll be posting Part 3 of the Zodiac puzzle next Sunday (whether I finish it for not), so hold tight until then, and then I'll be back weekly with new puzzle videos through the summer.
