Oof. I feel this. I’ve worked the past 4 years as dining services in a retirement community. And I recognise the self-blame as well. It gets pretty embedded. The amount of pain felt is directly correlated to the amount of love felt. The fact that he hurts that much is because he loves that much. I’ve been glad he’s been around since I first started reading. Life is very lonely without an older brother. I’m lucky enough to have two. ❤️
