The Ride Along Part 3

“Hey there little nephew, or should I say niece now judging by what your wearing. It’s only been a week since our ride along and now look at you. To be honest I think it’s adorable this is much more suitable attire you’re wearing. I just came by to see how things were, I mean truth be told your mother and I have been talking every day about you but I just really wanted to see for myself before I headed out for my shift tonight. Just think, a week ago I was dropping you back home. I rang the doorbell and we were both greeted by your mother, she stood wide eyed looking at you in nothing but the princess pull up. The girly colours definitely were a good choice I commended my partner for that. It was hilarious seeing your mums reaction as I filled her in of the events that transpired. She was so happy seeing you looking so innocent and helpless.

She really did turn you into a little mama’s boy didn’t she? At least now we don’t have to worry about you going out all night with your friends getting into trouble. I know you wouldn’t dream of shoplifting now or even thinking about stepping out of line. Before your mother only had the wetting video of you now she has pictures of you in just your pull ups and wearing your nightgown. I also heard that you’ve wet the bed a couple of times too; you seem to be regressing an awful lot. I guess that’s what happens when you come face to face with the fact that you’re not really an adult. Maybe in a few years you might be ready to grow up who knows. I have a feeling though at the rate you’re going, by the time I visit next you won’t even be awake to greet me. You will probably be fast asleep in your crib tucked in wearing a thick cosy diaper and onesie. You don’t sleep in a crib? Well, not yet, let’s see how well you behave yourself first. Now come on, your mother said it’s your bed time. Take my hand and I’ll tuck you in. As you fall asleep you can think of me out there protecting all the little babies like you who can’t defend themselves from the big meanies outside.”
