Each pack comes with pre-built walls, dynamic lighting, and ambient sounds, ready for you to jump straight in!

ALL MODULES BELOW THIS REQUIRE FOUNDRY V12 FOR LIGHTING TO WORK CORRECTLY

Manifest URLs -

How do you use them?

Simply grab the Manifest URLs and / or download the zip files (get zip files by copying the link, pasting into your address bar, replacing the '1' at the end with a '0', and using the 'download' link at the end of the page).

Happy gaming!

FoundryVTT map packs

Comments

With new links I could download everything.

RafaΕ‚

The team have reviewed all of these (I just checked as well) and they all work fine for us. They ARE, however, in a different file location as they are some ofthe first packs we made 2-3 years ago, so we're moving them all to be sat with everything else just in case that caused an issue somewhow. There will be new links in the next few days so please do install those in a day or so and let me know how you get on. If you keep having issues I would recommend getting in touch with Foundry Help directly to find what the issue might be :)

Moonlight Maps

These are all in review now, corrections will be published asap :) Thanks for letting me know!

Moonlight Maps

Hi Sam, my team are looking into this right now. All have been working fine since they were published (some, 2 years ago), it's possible the recent Foundry updates may have broken something. I'll report back asap.

Moonlight Maps

Was there ever a solution or resolution to this? I've been trying to import these into Foundry (version 10.291) recently and have been encountering the same issue. I think it may be conflicting with the maps appearing in the compendium as well.

Orbus

I've also had an error on the Nordic Throne URL.

Phillip Kalb

I have the same error as you in exactly the same maps.

RafaΕ‚

Several of these seem to be not working. I installed Dark Cavern as it's own module and it's just empty. The module works, but there's nothing in it's compendium folder.

CriticalVoid

just installed all of them I got the Error: Unable to load valid module manifest data from "https://www.dropbox.com/s/135ghp1hlbrhgur/module.json?dl=1" Module validation errors: packs: 0: type: may not be underfined on several of them here is the list Lakeside Village - https://www.dropbox.com/s/dbc4xi6824yyziy/module.json?dl=1 Fey River - https://www.dropbox.com/s/qnyy917raahnrcp/module.json?dl=1 Dark Cavern - https://www.dropbox.com/s/hnv2nnrriu72noq/module.json?dl=1 Fey Forest - https://www.dropbox.com/s/w3sgpkb96l6wncv/module.json?dl=1 Forest Cottage - https://www.dropbox.com/s/135ghp1hlbrhgur/module.json?dl=1 Forest Road - https://www.dropbox.com/s/3lv50vefx4ievvr/module.json?dl=1 Cave Entrance - https://www.dropbox.com/s/2wudhp1kxsqtffk/module.json?dl=1 Nordic Throne - https://www.dropbox.com/s/8z47k16kah90bk3/module.json?dl=1 Blacksmith Store - https://www.dropbox.com/s/nn2db3flh82rdw3/module.json?dl=1 General Store - https://www.dropbox.com/s/21wflu0yvxezqdl/module.json?dl=1

Sam Evans

Hey Kai, there's great resources on YouTube for Foundry VTT, and the Foundry VTT website itself of course. Let me know if you're still having trouble after that though :)

Moonlight Maps

Hi! So is there a video tutorial on how to get the packs working with the walls and lighting? I tried to install via manifest and module and scene and none are doing it accurately. Thank you!!

Kai

Some of them have a second link to the zip Another one has a link to their "myairbridge" site

Steve Culshaw

What do they do, Steve?

Moonlight Maps

Thanks for updating the guidance ... Hmm ... it's a bit cumbersome, some of my other Patreon's have got a slicker approach

Steve Culshaw

Hi Steve, thanks for taking the time to message me. I've changed the instructional text to solve this step, so thanks for that suggestion! Hope you enjoy them!

Moonlight Maps

I'd prefer to have the zips locally, so I can add/remove the modules as needed. The note says "Simply grab the Manifest URLs and / or download the zip files (get zip files by clicking the links)." But when I "click the link", all I download is the module.json file :-( So how do I actually download the full zip file?

Steve Culshaw

Ooh, good question. I'm not sure there was a public list actually, just the modules that were given out as backer rewards for my Kickstarter. They're all from the archive though, so you already have access to them all :)

Moonlight Maps

Okay sounds good, and is there a list of what maps were included in the dusk and twilight map books/foundry modules?

Lycilla

Ooh, that's a legacy script. I used to only offer the current month's as Foundry modules. I'll remove that soon :) Everything is available now

Moonlight Maps

So i have a question , the moonlight archive says "current months foundry packs" but then the tier says all of them for the anniversary, is that going to be changed at some point? Alsoi backed your kickstarter for the moonlight maps dragon hoard,(i got both dragon hoards) is there a list of maps that were in that pack? So i don't download the same ones

Lycilla

Hmm i dont remmeber which module it was bu lt i installed cliff paths fine, i tried installing one yesterday and there was some kind of manifest error though

Lycilla

Hmm. I'll have to check what version i had no problems with. That might be useful. Out and about at the moment.

AndrewT

I was having issues in 10.291 on the forge

Lycilla

Can confirm this, the download links work perfectly fine if you're using Foundry v10. I think Foundry changed up how the manifest download works now with v11 as none of the ones I've tested so far work at all with v11.

Saberofblue

Hey Andrew! Thank you so much for taking the time to say hi, I really appreciate that. Oh and totally, Foundry VTT has given me the opportunity to add so much life to my maps :)

Moonlight Maps

I think i might be able to help out with this problem. i keep a version 10 foundry vtt install on another computer (my wife's work computer ...) ever since 11 came along. The manifest URLs work perfectly in 10. You probably already know that, but i would thought i just offer this information.

AndrewT

Hello there. great maps. Being in my youth a bit of a miniatures person the visual and tactical movement side of my rpgs is really important. And vtts have made what my group likes so much better!

AndrewT

Thanks for this Lyracian, I'll flag it with the team now. There was a Foundry VTT update last week which may have disrupted things :)

Moonlight Maps

Hi Closhee, these are manifest URLs - if you copy the link and paste into Foundry VTT when installing a new module, it will install for you (you can use them to download .json files, then you will have to unpack the folder and install manually on your local system) - Foundry VTT website and youtube can help you in detail :)

Moonlight Maps

Hey Lycilla, everything should be working fine. If there are any that are not installing please let me know via a message/email so the team can test them (many of these packs have been working fine for years so it's possible a recent Foundry VTT update may have broken something) :)

Moonlight Maps

Hi Ha, everything should be working fine. If there are any that are not installing please let me know via a message/email so the team can test them (many of these packs have been working fine for years so it's possible a recent Foundry VTT update may have broken something) :)

Moonlight Maps

Same here but if you use that as the manifest link in Foundry VTT it then installs.

Lyracian Xi

Nice maps. Sadly they do have compatibility warning in VTT about using "author" not "authors". Not sure if you plan to get them updated?

Lyracian Xi

I was having issues yesterday. Tried again today and they all worked. I think too many people were accessing and requests were timing out.

Lyracian Xi

Whenever I click the link it just downloads a .json file not a zip file? It doesn't seem to be a unique .json file either as they all save as "module.json" and when i save a second it saves as "module (1).json"

Closhee Aveiana

Can confirm what Ha Matui said above, failed to install on the forge and Foundry client installed on my laptop.

Lycilla

Alot of the manifest links arent working

Ha Matui

Thanks for the reply and take your time, I have PLENTY of options already :)

Simon

That's all working now, Jeremy. Thanks for letting me know! πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

Interesting. I'll flag that and get it fixed asap, Jeremy! πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

Hi, I think the Castle Garden manifest link may be broken.

Jeremy

Hi Simon, keen eyesight indeed! Some of the earlier maps (Glory Run, Country Fork) were never converted as they were very much...not up to where the other map quality is. A few of those others have somehow been lost in a migration, but we're working on restoring them asap. Rest assured, they'll all be here soon! Giants footprint - we shall investigate! :)

Moonlight Maps

Hello! First off, amazing work on these! I did notice some of the maps (Country Fork, Glory Run Road, Ruined Throne, The Tavern, Towngate, Village Festival, Forest Switch Maps) don't seem to have a link next to them... don't know if that's normal. I also noticed the Giant's Footprint link is not working.

Simon

That's all fixed, Shannon. Thanks for alerting us to that error :) πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

Hi Shannon, thanks for flagging this, the FoundryVTT team will check it asap! πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

Hello! Thanks for everything, great maps. Could I ask you to have a look at tthe Dragon Jaw link though please? Can't get it to install.

Shannon Dean

Not everything, no. There was a master manifest distributed to patrons a year or so ago when the system was changed, but it was huge even at that point - many couldn't even install it due to size restrictions. I'm always keeping an eye out for better services/methods though, so any ideas are welcome

Moonlight Maps

Is there a way to add all the maps as a single folder? Or do I have to go one by one? Thank you!

Binge Watchers

The Castle Garden Link seems to point to the Bone Swamp Module

Michael Gasser

It looks like the Rocky Coast Foundry Link is in fact the ambush Ridge Foundry link

Michael Gasser

Thanks for the feedback CKC, I'll make sure wording is made clearer!

Moonlight Maps

Pretty sure the Tier should say Only new Monthly VTT map packs, I signed up thinking I would have access to previous manifest files too?

CKC

Now I'm confused why the previous months are still included. I like to support you and all but it seems if I just waited a few days, I could've got more bang for my 15$.

MagicOriole

Hi AJ, that's fair, I'll review all outgoing marketing and see if anything can be made clearer.

Moonlight Maps

I have to +1 Jon here that your marketing here and on Facebook is slightly confusing. I get why you are doing it this way, but it did surprise me that I have to pay extra for previous released packs.

AJ St. Aubin

Hi Jon, thanks for asking for clarification - Moonlight Archivists ($15 Tier) get every map I've ever made, currently about 90 map packs (in print and VTT quality), as well as every encounter, and that month's pre-built VTT packs (4 or 5 packs depending on the month - I release them every week), you get this and new packs every month you are subscribed. For any other packs you can visit my store, yes :)

Moonlight Maps

"All map packs (both print & VTT quality)" is what I thought I bought. Guess I dont understand patreon.

MagicOriole

Confused by the advertisting here. Pay 15$ but I have to use a different shop to get any FVTT maps that arent these two map packs?

MagicOriole

whenever i try to download the maps it keeps getting to 83% on foundry then freezing?

Joseph Hallett

Ah! Good spot, that's fixed now! πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

The Temple Sanctuary manifest link just brings you to the original Patreon post

Keven

Hey Weilef, really glad you're enjoying what I'm making here! There isn't currently a manifest, that's an interesting suggestion πŸ€” My Kickstarter and regular content has me backed up for a while but I'll certainly have a look at bringing out a list in future πŸ˜ŠπŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

Thank you for the amazing maps and content. You have made my job far too easy! But is there a manifest somewhere that easily links the encounter pdfs with the Foundry VTT made maps? I have the map packs purchased, and I can look at the encounter pdf and attempt to search through the map names to find it, but I'm curious if there is an easier way I'm missing.

Weilef

All fixed. Patreon somehow doesn't update links when updated... Double checked and all good to go! πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

Same as Gryfenhain, I'm on Foundry .8.9 and trying to use the Forest Gully module link results in the above error. All the other modules work correctly.

Capriox and Talikan

Hello, the link for the forest gully doesnt work for me. Foundry says: did not provide a valid manifest file. Thanks

Gryfenhain

IF you are still having issues, I just started using Forge and I was having trouble as well. All of the maps were incorrectly scaled. When I would scale them up, the walls and light sources were in the wrong places. I could have moved every wall and light source, but I found that if I launched my game through Forge, clicked on Return to Setup, then clicked add-on modules and then add the module through the manifest url, everything worked as it should.

Harrizon Fjord

Hi Bas, the 50% code is on your membership page. Every map pack comes with pre-built FoundryVTT packs including detailed walls, dynamic animated lighting, and ambient sounds, some of the older packs just don't say it in the post because they were made before then. But everything has been made, don't worry :) Happy gaming!

Moonlight Maps

Where can I get the 50% off code? Does your village pack come with VTT? Some of your other packs specified they do but the village one doesn't.

BT

Thanks! :-)

Eugen

Yes, I'm looking for the zip file.

Eugen

Hi Eugen, did the previous response solve your problem? Or are you looking for the zip file? πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

You can find the link on the module json on the page 'FoundryVTT Compendium Links'

Orange Fox

Hi Moonlight, I'm missing the Foundry-Pack for the new Dungeon Cult Map. Can you please tell me how to find it? Thanks!

Eugen

Hi William, thanks for reaching out! No need to worry at all, you will get a permanent link to everything here when the change happens :) Ok so the Foundry VTT website (and some youtube tutorials) run you through the process in detail, but as a quick pointer - Open Foundry, go to the 'Add-on Modules' tab, on that tab click on 'Install Module' at the bottom, then paste in the Manifest URL you want to install. This will install the pack(s) into your game world. Open your world game world and go to your compendiums and open the new pack(s), and choose the scenes you'd like to play with. I hope that gives you a good idea of how to get started. As I said, you can check the Foundry (or youtube) step by step tutorials and should find everything you need. Happy gaming!

Moonlight Maps

I'm relatively new to foundry and new to being a patreon but I'm completely confused on how to get the content. I wasn't in a hurry until I saw you are changing access for new subscribers and I'm relatively new. Is there a way to download the content with all the foundry setup. It says just follow the link but what does the manifest do. Does the manifest still work if I download it. Is there some resource that explains how this works? I understand the free modules and hooking them into foundry but the paid content like this I'm lost.

William Bossier

Thank you Valtteri, that's very kind of you to say! There's a corruption in the Canyon Pass folder which we're fixing at the moment, it will be available soon! You can use the Manifest URL to instal it automatically though

Moonlight Maps

First of all thanks for your hard work with all of your maps! I noticed Canyon pass is not listed here in the attachments.

Waltro

Thanks for the reply. Will try to do that tonight.

Hermes Vasconcellos Netto

Hi Hermes. If you install the maps via the import wizard and import any of my zip files it will use the Asset Library space, if you use manifest URLs it will count towards game data πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

Hi Hermes, I'll look into the asset library destination and see what I can do πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

Thanks alot for putting all of this packs in one post. Makes much easier to get them. I have been using Forge to host FoundryVTT, altough it is very easy to import the modules everything on them are imported into the Game Data space. Is it possible to change the destination of some of the stuff that is imported so the maps and sounds (which consume more space) go into the assets library?

Hermes Vasconcellos Netto

Sweet, thank you!

Dayna Renee

So glad that you're enjoying these map packs Dayna, thank you for letting me know! I don't have plans for snow variants for those packs just yet, but that's a very good point... I'll see how my schedule looks and see what I can do for you! If I can fit it in I absolutely will! πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

These packs are awesome, thanks MM! I love the general store and blacksmith store! Do you have any plans of making snow variants for any of these? I'm running Rime of the Frostmaiden and snow variants would be hugely helpful.

Dayna Renee

Ah great! I'm glad to hear that! Can you also add a JSON URL to forge? That way you can just copy the URL from your packs and it'll unpack from the core location :) Glad to hear it's working well though! πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

Thanks MM, I figured it out. when running on the forge it is actually even easier. You just need to go to the import Wizard on the forge and add the zip file, click analyze, then it unpacks it for you and places it into the modules.

Lawren Nemeth

If others are doing it I'll certainly look into doing it as well Lawren! What are you having trouble with exactly? Feel free to message me, and I'll do what I can to help! :)

Moonlight Maps

I'm running on the Forge and having difficulty getting things to work. Some other mapmakers have it set up where if you are signed into Patreon you can download the module directly from the Forge, is this something you may be able to do in the future ?

Lawren Nemeth

My pleasure Alfred! Glad you're enjoying them!! It's really nice to see my maps working like this, I can't wait to have them all ready πŸŒ™

Moonlight Maps

These are absolutely amazing and a huge time saver. Thank you so much for supporting FoundryVTT!
