[Spiderman] Ch: 12 [Brutality]
Added 2025-02-24 14:08:06 +0000 UTCThe air vibrated with energy as Peter’s cosmic aura flared like a supernova. His eyes burned with raw, celestial fire, his body thrumming with enough power to level entire cities. His patience had run out.
It was time to end this.
Shaw, still grinning like a beast drunk on his own strength, stomped forward. Every step cracked the ice beneath him as his muscles pulsed, veins bulging unnaturally from the Nether energy coursing through him. His power had reached monstrous levels—absorbing everything thrown at him had turned him into a walking bomb of destruction.
"What's wrong, Parker?" Shaw sneered, rolling his shoulders. "Out of tricks?"
Peter exhaled slowly, cracking his neck. Then, in the blink of an eye, he moved.
A deafening BOOM echoed through the battlefield as Peter blitzed forward, his fist colliding with Shaw’s gut so fast the air itself combusted. The sheer force of the impact sent ripples through Shaw’s body, distorting it like a rubber balloon stretched to its limit. His grin faltered, replaced by shock.
Another hit.
Peter’s knee rocketed upward, slamming into Shaw’s ribs with such force that his bones cracked like dry twigs. A third strike... an elbow straight to his spine that sent him crashing face-first into the frozen wasteland, sending fractures spiderwebbing across the battlefield.
Shaw coughed violently, blood pooling from his mouth. He tried to push himself up and was about to release the absorbed energy but Peter wasn’t done. He flicked his fingers, creating a containment shield around Shaw's body, preventing him from using his energy.
Before Shaw could react, Peter blinked before him, grabbed him by the throat, and lifted him high into the air. Cosmic energy crackled in his grip, raw power flowing into Shaw’s body like an overcharged circuit.
Shaw’s eyes widened in panic. "W-What are you—?"
BOOM.
The first wave of energy surged into Shaw’s chest. A hard knee smash... His body twitched violently. His muscles, so used to absorbing power, suddenly couldn’t contain it.
Peter smirked. "You like absorbing energy, huh? Well, let's see how much you can really take."
BOOM.
Another surge. Then another. And another. More. More.
Shaw’s screams turned guttural as his skin began to crack and glow. His veins bulged grotesquely, pulsating with unstable energy. The very thing that made him invincible was now turning him into a living bomb.
"Wait!!!"
Peter clenched his fist. Final surge.
A colossal burst of cosmic force funneled into Shaw and his body couldn’t hold it anymore. His mouth opened in a silent scream as light erupted from his eyes, his skin splitting apart. His entire form detonated in a blinding explosion, sending gore and chunks of flesh raining down onto the battlefield.
SHAW EXPLODED.
Peter wiped some stray blood off his shoulder. "Guess you finally hit your limit."
Before he could turn, metallic limbs shot toward him. Doctor Octopus.
The twisted scientist laughed as his spectral-enhanced mechanical arms moved at unnatural speeds. Peter dodged the first two strikes, twisting in mid-air, but the third tentacle coiled around his waist.
CLANK!
With a sharp yank, Peter was slammed into the icy ground with bone-crushing force. He grunted but gritted his teeth as the tentacles wrapped around his limbs, pinning him.
"You always thought you were better than me," Octopus growled, his glowing, undead eyes burning with hatred. "Let’s see how smug you are when I TEAR YOU APART!"
The tentacles constricted, but Peter had enough.
A savage grin spread across his face. "Oh, Doc. You never did learn, did you?"
Before Octopus could react... "ARGGGG!!!" Peter grabbed his tentacles and with sheer brute strength, he ripped them apart. Two down.
CRACK!
Doctor Octopus sent the remaining tentacles toward Peter, slamming them on him.
SNAP! SNAP!
He grabbed the remaining arms and wrenched them clean off, sending sparks flying. Octopus howled in pain. Each removal sent the doctor stumbling back, his body wracked with agony.
“No, STOP!” Ock shrieked. “You can’t...”
Peter didn’t listen.
He wasn’t finished. He plunged his fingers and grabbed Otto’s spine through his back and began to pull.
"ARRGGGG!!!" Otto screamed. A guttural, horrific wail.
RIP!
Peter tore Otto’s spine clean out of his body, blood spraying like a geyser. Otto twitched violently before his body went limp, his organs spilling onto the frozen ground from his back.
FATALITY.
Peter flicked the blood off his hands and turned just as a green glow illuminated the sky.
Green Goblin as usual laughing as he flew around on his glider, dozens of spectral pumpkin bombs hovering around him. "You think you’re unstoppable, Parker? Let’s see how you handle—"
Peter vanished.
BOOM!
Before Norman could finish his sentence, Peter appeared on his glider.
"Hey, Gobby. Open wide."
Before Norman could react, Peter grabbed one of his bombs, jabbed his throat, and forced him to open his mouth then he shoved it straight into his mouth.
Goblin’s eyes bulged. He tried to scream, but Peter webbed his jaw shut and jumped back.
The green energy inside the bombs flickered wildly, unstable, seconds away from—
BOOM.
Norman’s head exploded like a melon. Blood, skull fragments, and burning green embers showered the battlefield as his headless corpse twitched before falling off the glider, and crashing into the ground below.
Peter landed smoothly, brushing dust off his suit. "Damn. That was messy."
On the other side of the battlefield, Skarlet faced off against the Ice Lady. The frigid air howled around them, the temperature plunging as ice magic clashed with Skarlet’s crimson energy.
“You’re a resilient one,” Ice Lady purred, twirling a jagged spear of frozen death in her hands. “But let’s see how well your blood flows when it’s frozen solid.”
She flicked her wrist, and a dozen razor-sharp ice shards launched toward Skarlet like bullets.
Skarlet smirked. With a flick of her hand, tendrils of boiling hot blood surged forward, slicing through the ice with ease.
The Ice Lady barely had time to react before Skarlet closed the distance.
SHUNK!
Skarlet drove a blood dagger deep into her gut. "Kuggg!" Ice Lady gasped, but before she could scream, Skarlet twisted the blade.
Then she went wild.
SLASH!
Skarlet carved through Ice Lady’s torso, blood spraying like a fountain.
SLASH! SLASH!
She shredded the woman’s arms, severing them at the elbows. Ice Lady fell to her knees, eyes wide with shock, her body trembling as she bled out.
“You talk too much,” Skarlet whispered.
She drove her hands into Ice Lady’s chest and ripped her in half. Blood and entrails splattered across the icy battlefield as her mutilated corpse collapsed into two grotesque pieces.
Skarlet licked the blood off her fingers.
Peter whistled. “Damn. And I thought I was brutal.”
Skarlet smirked. “She had it coming.”
The battlefield was silent. The enemies were nothing more than lifeless corpses, their blood soaking into the ice and molten rock.
Peter took a deep breath, his cosmic aura fading. "Well, that was fun."
A slow, mocking clap echoed through the cavern.
Peter turned, his fists tightening as Shang Tsung’s spectral form flickered into existence once again.
The sorcerer smirked. "Impressive, Spider. Very impressive." His eyes gleamed with something sinister. "But this… was merely the beginning."
Peter rolled his shoulders. "Yeah, yeah. Villain talk, part two. You’re gonna threaten me, say it’s not over, blah blah."
Shang Tsung chuckled. "Oh no… I merely wanted to tell you that there has been a change in plans," His grin widened. "We are going to do this the old way. Through Mortal Kombat. The winner takes it all." A sinister smile appeared on his face. "I'll have your soul sooner or later and there's nothing you can do to stop me. Rules. You strike down any of my champions and the wrath of the Elder Gods will befall you. But the hell I've unleashed on your world... hahaha. I wonder, will you save your Earth or sacrifice it to save your entire Realm?"
[Crackle!] A burst of lightning crashed on Shang Tsung's spectral form, shattering it to pieces.
A man with lighting sparking in his eyes stood before them.
