Added 2025-02-12 21:26:21 +0000 UTCHey all. I figured I'd start the finals a little earlier than usual. That'll give more time for the Modders I work with to get the more complex ones done if they're needed.
But also, I thought hard about this, but I might need to limit the Marvel Rivals winners to just one character. I mentioned this before, I'm not a modder. So I rely on commissioning modders whenever I need assets ported. but with Marvel Rivals, the characters simply can't be made without both a headmod and an outfit port. and that becomes way too expensive when there's 3 of them in the horizon (almost a third of my payment). not to mention the fact that I might need to get even more for other characters. I thought about getting more commissions to offset this, but that would mean putting even more work on my plate. so I'm gonna need to really consider limiting those to 1.

Maybe. usually it doesn't feel fair to limit a series for being popular, cuz if most people vote for 2 characters of a same series, that just means that what people want. but for this instance, I gotta put the limitation cuz it was gonna legit put a financial strain on me. so in the future, if there's 2 Marvel Rivals finalists, I might just have to give one slot for the most voted one and go for the third place.

I wouldn't be surprised to see others drop their own variants. I mean Look at Evaan. They got their own Sue Storm right after yours.

I'd suggest a middle ground where Rivals suggestions get a separate poll open for 2 days or so in the beginning of the month and that winner gets added to the video game poll. Could be cleaner than picking the Rivals winner and the non Rivals runner up if we reach the monthly goal.
