I am back with a (fishy) snack. I had some serious art block the past few weeks, so deeply sorry for the radio silence. I started cooking for MerMay regardless.

For this year I plan to do some juicy AU with Hawks as a merman and Enji as the billionaire who was stupid enough to purchase a dangerous pet. More artwork for that is in the works-- However, I couldn't resist at least sketching a new design for merman Enji as well. That's why he is included in here.

About Hawks' design: I had no particular fish in mind. I did him close to a flying fish the past 2 years, but for this one I just went wild. Frilled gills, fins that look close to his wings and feathers, etc. No accurate biology to be found, only aesthetics and a little bit of body horror. lol.
