Honestly, just want to take a minute to speak from the heart.

I really appreciate everyone in here supporting this journey, I hope the videos are connecting for you.

This series in particular has been quite affecting for me - the first season sparked an interest in the history of my own country that school absolutely never did.

And this season has come at a particular point of reflection for me. I'm thinking a lot about purpose at the moment, in my own life and in others'. I'm 41 now and I'm entering a different chapter of my life, one where I'm increasingly interested in helping people connect with their own purpose and to live a life where they feel aligned to who they are.

This show just continually presses on those buttons for me with every passing episode.

I appreciate the reactions themselves aren't as dramatic as AOT, but I find myself in a contemplative mood when I'm watching, and for long periods after.

In a world that's absolutely relentless in its hunt for our attention, being able to spend contemplative time with a slow, gentle show like this is amazing, and clearly it has struck a chord with millions of people, those who are also feeling the burden of this ceaseless attack on our senses from the current world (or at least, the current media).

I might make this a separate post as well, as it's ended up longer than I initially intended (in fact, I just started typing with no real agenda)
