The season 2 outro song will blow your mind, it has things that hasn't been revealed but you wouldn't understand anyways if you watched it at the time. You can watch it now but if you watched it after finishing AOT it will have even more meaning. It is insane how good it is (also the song is english you might not notice because of the heavy accent)

You have to consider that you’re doing your other channels, watching AOT, irl stuff, and only watching JJK a few times a week. I think if you watch a beginners intro to JJK season 1 lore and power system you might fall back into it. After also rewatching the Gojo/Toji fight again you’ll hopefully enjoy it more and follow it better. I really really think if you do that you will absolutely love the arc after gojo’s past. Even if you don’t, it is your opinion and we should all respect it. Do what you gotta do Jon🫶

I would say it’s ok to drop a show that isn’t for you. The genre definitely has interesting quirks that aren’t for everyone. I would also say that branching out on this channel to western shows/animation as well, instead of strictly anime, would be great

I personally would love to see JJK continue as it’s one I quite enjoy but I would always recommend to do what’s best for YOU. At the end of the day this is your channel and if people are going to be toxic as all hell then there’s no reason for you to put yourself through that. I see that other commenters have left breakdown video links so I’ll leave that for another time. I have a feeling that you and I actually consume media in a very similar way in regard to wanting all the information possible ALL the time. For context I’ve watched AND read JJK through where the anime is currently at least 7 different times. A dedicated reading, an art appreciation reading where I really enjoy the artwork of the panels and forget about the story for a while, a dedicated watch in sub, a dedicated watch in dub, and then just for background noise now that I know as much as I do about the characters, techniques, etc. So it is possible to take all that information in (it’s easier while reading the manga cause you can move at YOUR pace), but because you obviously don’t live a life that can support that kind of behavior I would definitely suggest watching some of these YouTube videos people are linking if you’re seriously interested in continuing the show. Without the information that FEELS critical you start overthinking and miss the points that actually ARE critical. I know that feeling all too well. Once again I’m sorry for all these absolute shitheads that are literally paying you money just so they can insult you. That’s childish and pathetic of whoever does that. as a big jjk fan they do throw a ton of exposition at you sometimes lol. almost all of it is either explaining the power system/specific jujutsu techniques or world building/explaining and expanding story beats. while specific details of the jujutsu techniques are cool for power system nerds (like myself) they aren’t super important to the main story. i think you’d get the most enjoyment from the show by just enjoying the fights, characters, and trying to keep up with the main plot line and story beats.

JJK has become one of my favorite shows to watch reactions with how season 2 has been going and I have seen quite a bit of reactions to it. Honestly, from the very beginning of JJK, it seemed to be something that had a side which didn't mesh with you, which is perfectly reasonable - I'm a longtime anime watcher and there are shows such as Death Note, Steins Gate, JoJo, and others that are exceedingly well loved by what seems to be a very large portion of the anime community that I just can't get into. I think the fact that you've been pushing through the bad to get to the good is pretty cool, even with how you don't enjoy episodes I love, sure you won't hold my favorite reaction for that episode, but at the same time, you are giving me something I haven't seen elsewhere and you are being genuine. JJK has a "power system" that is definitely quite unique and keeps it's mysterious side. Some things you definitely won't understand on a first watch out of context, some things, you can also very easily miss and somethings you can also build a wrong assumption for. The story progresses quickly, the powers scale quickly and yes as a viewer you are thrown in and some people watching reactions may be a bit jaded when seeing a reaction of someone not fully grasping concepts that these people may have understood after watching the season 1-2 multiple times, through reactions. At the end of the day, your reflections here are very well appreciated, but I sure wouldn't hold it against you to either drop the series, or keep going as is. If it breeds toxicity towards you, you pick what you think is your way to go ahead and I'll still be here the next month.

It's quite a complex power system to take in when you don't have any time to dedicate to it outside of the episodes and have a hectic life in general - may be worth a quick cursed energy explanation video along with the catch up if you have time. Its still really fun if you don't 100% grasp it, having a grip on the basics is p important for the show though.

the funny thing is, watching jjk by myself I found it pretty easy to follow, maybe bc of my young brain and all lmao, but watching it back with ur reactions felt weirdly jarring so I can sympathise with your confusion. It almost felt like a different show watching it this time and made me realise that to enjoy jjk you kinda need to get yourself bogged down in the details, as I did when I watched it. but on the rewatch and knowing that you obviously don't have the time for all that, it's so clear that the show is just far too fast and dense at points lmao. honestly, I love the show but some details just fly by you because certain phrasings just aren't your typical English phrasings, or sometimes the show is intentionally obscure. no pressure tho, it's definitely a more technical show with certain eccentric features. I think time, a quick yt recap, and maybe comment guides might be the way😭

There are 5 sets of openings and endings Season 1 part 1 Season 1 part 2 Season 2 Season 3 part 1 Season 3 part 2 The season 3 part 1 ending teaser you saw, it’s kind of cool to see it’s in totality again. There is a part 2 teaser but honestly I’m not sure if it’s worth watching, it’s just a frame of a character from season 4. I mentioned in the other comments but I personally would love a season 1-3 review/recap of sorts maybe with some speculation about what season 4 will bring. Seems like a good time to provide a bunch of commentary imo as the show after season 3 feels definitively different. Some channels I’ve seen that like to milk the available content watch some iconic scenes in dub form like Erwin’s suicide speech but I would be wary of YouTube recommending spoilers from season 4.
