Take your time.. let the show come to you, it has happened to me and I am a huge fan of all types of anime shows and movies. Each one, especially the good ones, have a uniqueness about them, but you must get through the similarities and foundational elements (if you're a seasoned anime watcher) and the surprising and different-from-most-things elements (if you are new, or relatively new to anime) before you get into it deeply. Plus, watching Attack on Titan as a beginning anime, is quite the adventure to start out on from barely any anime at all... lol, but you got this! I really want you to enjoy it, so I can see your genuine reaction to it with understanding and desire to continue watching. Have fun! And thanks for trying this out, I wish you luck with it. I started from The Weeknd of course, so you are into two of my biggest interests now ;)!
