Finally, the book 1 of 1% Lifesteal is out on the big stage!
It's been a long, stressful ass time. But it's here. I'd say I'm gonna be distracted, but I legit feel sick. I'm probably gonna spend most of today in bed refreshing the rankings and shit. 💀
Once again, thank you all for your support throughout the (nearly) two years I've been writing this story. It meant the world to me, and any further support you give will mean just as much, if not even more. Especially today. And throughout the next few weeks.
The better the book does, the better and longer the series will be. If you enjoy reading this story, please keep in mind that I have a publisher to please and a family to feed. And also an ego that is super hungry for validation. Hey, I'm just being honest, okay?
Jokes aside, the first book isn't the be-all end-all but it is very important to the long-term longevity of the series.

Just because I had an extrinsic force driving me doesn't mean it wasn't really, really fucking hard to pick things back up again. And like I said, I'm still struggling with stress and anxiety and insecurity and generally have a rather unhealthy relationship with my identity as a writer, but I'm getting better, one small step at a time.

The fact that it was something you HAD to doesn't make it less impressive. I write a little for my own enjoyment and... getting even a few words on page everyday can be the hardest thing in the world. The thousands and thousands of high quality ones you managed while fighting through the emotional whiplash? You have a right to be proud no matter how this turns out. And I cannot imagine it's going to be badly. I have KU because it's the only way I can afford to feed my book addiction and 1% is MASSIVELY better than most of the the crap on there.
