Two Packages, Over Twenty-Five Figs 😭

Well geez, look what this week brought in! As if I wasn’t already backlogged with enough figs already! (I guess in a way this is a good thing though, right?) This hobby is really funky sometimes!

For a bit of context, most of what you see here was being withheld from me by the reseller BabyBrick. Figs that have been complete from their production for months, if not some getting close to a year or more!

I messaged BabyBrick some time in early September asking about shipping alternatives (ya know, with the world being on fire and all). And in a long back and fourth three week long snail-speed conversation, BabyBrick FINALLY sent me all of my figs that were keeping his desk warm. It was nearly half my backlog of preorders and other such stuff!

Needless to say, I think I’ll be dropping them as a reseller going forward, given how much of a hassle this all was.

Ironically, the same day BabyBrick’s package arrived, I also received a package from TracyMinifigs containing Abnormal’s FF that I’ve been quite looking forward to! Not only that, but Abnormal’s BTAS figs, AND BlackStar’s Fleischer Superman!

AND THEN on top of all these, this last week I also received CarbonBricks recent wave of products to photograph for their website! So I honestly feel like I’m drowning in custom minifigs right now 😵‍💫

I’ve got a few projects almost finished. Including some Hades/MrJ Lantern stuff, Excelsior’s Manchester Black, some throwback LifeBrick figs… not to mention that my “real job” is beginning to ramp up for the marathon that is the American consumerism holiday season. AND I have a dentist appointment on the 20th!

So allllll of that said! I think I’m gonna pause things for a few days.

This huge load of figs all arriving at once has really thrown my schedule into a pickle (or however the colloquialism should go). So uh yeah! I’m gonna take a bit of time to get organized, so no new posts for a bit!

It honestly shouldn’t take more than a week to get my eyeballs uncrossed, but I appreciate everyone’s patience all the same! :)
