The thundering water spouting forth from some strange hidden source thunders down into the plunge pool, announcing the presence of this mighty effigy to any in the surrounding forest. Passing travellers who stop for rest at the feet of this grand figure would be wise to keep one eye open, for like the statue the crevasse at the base does not appear to be natural in origin and who really knows what manner of foul creature may reside inside in the heart of this mountain.
