I'm trying out something new here, expanding the static map beyond what is possible with the animated ratio (fitting onto a traditional 16x9 screen), so I'd love to know what you thing, and if this playing with form is something you'd all like to see more of?

The chains suspending the platform clank in protest as another dodged blow collides with the metal floor, the sparks sent flying by the collisions lost amongst the cacophony of the lightning tearing through the well below.
In their prime the Dwarven ‘Silverbeards’ clan would use this chamber for all manner of celebrations and ceremonies, from showering accolades upon returning heroes, to casting down those who dared to trespass upon their halls uninvited. These days the lustre has fallen from these lands, but the chamber remains, as enduring as the lords of these tunnels.
Again, the hammer fall is dodged, but only just this time. One these Dwarven lords observe the tiring interloper slowing down as the hall’s champion closes in for the inevitable killing blow and smiles in grim satisfaction.
