It was a very cold day in very chilly water if you can tell by the goose bumps. The spring wasn't the most clear from all the rain that hit us (of course) of this day, but it did mean that all the people left, leaving the spring mostly private. This was a new spot for me. The spring had a lot of algae growth which can look cool or kinda gross, like you can see in the sand of these shots. I saw a few fish called gars. They were smaller and bright with spots.
I've been trying to create more art reference shots underwater since it looks so different under there, but it can be so rare to find a good location. The water and buoyancy changes so much of the body. Next time I can leave the skin more blue instead of color correcting it. Technically the colors should all be there, but the red light disappears quickly in the water. Since this isn't very deep though the skin doesn't look quite as pale and blue, but you might notice how my limbs or body parts farther from the camera are more blue than the opposite side because the color red can not move in water as well. It surprises me that my hair often shows up so well still while facial blemishes vanish quickly.
