My 2022 and 2023 goals

I want to become a better artist this next year. I want to push myself to take better self portraits. Currently I'm practicing new editing styles. I really enjoy the editing process when I can find the time. I have a lot of work to edit, so I have a lot of practice with. I'm thrilled with this set. I don't usually edit in bnw. I'm usually so attracted to the colors in a scene it is hard for me to give them up even if black and white look better. I'm style a bit heartbroken over losing the color, but I just love the bnw. It looked so right and it's like you can still feel the colors a bit.

I have two styles I take photos for and edit. I take collections of photos and then I take photos (at leat I use to a long time ago) that would be just one photo. Over time, it went from one to three to make up an instagram row, and then 5-30 for a collection for Patreon. Batches of photos seem to be more popular and sometimes it is easy. There will be so many good ones. Sometimes the editing process just flows. But I can't edit the way I use to then, because I use to want to create a super "fantasy", "artsy" edit that'd take an hour. My mind and inspiration changed with the way I was taking photos though, so it'll be hard for me to try to go backwards. I'm happy for the challenge of it. Historically it has been hard for me to take time for myself or my own projects though. Which is why I've considered devoting next year to it. I don't have to get it right right away, but I'll have a year to try. It's good to have a lot of skills, and since most of my life is experimenting, I might as well.
