Waterfalls in Pittsburgh with Rachel Dashae

I'm excited to see Rachel again this November. She'll be flying down to meet me on tour in Arizona. Mostly, we plan to hike around the area and shoot. She knows a lot more about this space than I do. I've briefly touched the west coast a few times, and never thought to explore it if I'm honest. I already get overwhelmed being and driving through new areas. It all astonishes me! It is so different from one state to the next some times. I don't know what to look for. I think that's what I like about modelinsomething I like about modeling. It gives me the opportunity and takes me to new places. I am a homebody that could hide away under the covers forever, but when I am out, I get excited to see more.  Talking to a few models about how they decide to travel, I feel like I need to think deeper to how I travel. While I get to explore a place a bit, I hardly spend time exploring when I'm not shooting or a friend hasn't dragged me somewhere. For Rachel, she loves hiking. She plans tours around hiking trails. For another friend, she loves museums and experiences. She plans a few days to do those things in a city. I think I'm so baffled by each city, obsessed with modeling, and awestruck that any one wants to shoot with me that I get caught up in that.

Another part of traveling is trying to create a routine or habits. This tour, I hoped to work out and sleep more. It hasn't happened... at all. If I want to prevent my body, mind, or creativity from burning out, I do need to focus on self care. I take it for granted.

In general, I think I spent this year trying to push myself and grow as much as I could. I wanted to build confidence and connections. I wanted to prove to myself I could model full time and make a consistent income. If you've been following me this year, you may have noticed how difficult it was for me to take a break or have much time for building Patreon or OnlyFans. I spent a lot of time traveling, coordinating traveling, shooting, and trying to book shoots. It was awesome, but a lot of work. Next year I want to focus on prioritizing what's important to me and my career as a model. While I feel incredible for acheiving so much to me, I don't think I can maintain the level I am working at.  I might be able to, but I don't think I'm my best self at this speed.

October and November are the months of my last tour this year. I can't believe the year is close to over! I had a feeling of impending doom for this tour that luckily hasn't come! I just had a feeling something bad would happen, but I think I was nervous to venture west. I hadn't been to Lousiana, Texas, or the west coast in years. I've had a few mis-adventures and great adventures already. I saw the longest natural bridge east of the Smokey's and jumped into a waterfall in Alabama. Got hit on at a dumpy hotel in a random city of Mississippi. Finally shot nude in a cemetary. I don't know why that has been a bucket list concept for me, but I've been inspired by the statues and mausoleums. Stayed in an airbnb that was basically an entirely glass room. In Houston, every day was something. In Texas, every day has been something! That might just be the nature of tour really. Every situation feels so much more dramatic because I'm in a totally unfamiliar setting. I'm glad to get to crash in Lubbock with my relatives here. I wish I could say I'm going to zone out for a few days, but I have photos to edit and tours to plan. At least I love it. I really enjoy editing photos when I give myself to time to do so, and I love shooting. Modeling (and money helps) motivates me to do the work that let's me do that.
