editing by me
I need to work more on my retouching, but there is not a lot of time! Retouching definitely takes a minute. Also it's tedious. But it does class up a photo....
I want to make sure I'm always moving forward with creating. I know I discussed adding more figure art and drawing references to Patreon. I haven't had a great space to get to yet. I'd prefer to have a backdrop so my background isn't too distracted. I can use the backyard but the lighting varies so much it's been tricky in the past, so I'm still experimenting. In the mean time I tried to get some cool shots on my gopro. I may not be doing it right or my gopro is limited. Hoping to edit those soon and post. It's been mostly wonderful to have a place to post my favorite photos and lots of them. Various social media feels so limiting for a variety of reasons. For instance, I worry about bombarding people with too many photos, but here that's what it's all about. With COVID shaking up the world, I've felt more like experiementing and in general not caring if it screws up my "algorithm" or whatever. It's lame to have to consider what will be best for my business and weigh that against my own feelings. I'm certain you all have opinions on it, but I'm trying to do what's best for me which sometimes means focusing on what will grow my career. I learned early on that if I grow my career I get to model more, and so I've always felt insentivized to do so. Social media is a tool in so many ways. It isn't just for growing my business, but the direction of and what kind of people do I want to attract and work with. That I don't know or understand fully. People hire for an aesthetic or what they rememebr me for, which is often art nude and underwater work for me. Lately it seems to push more boundaries. I just want to do everything? lol, but I hear that isn't a good business strategy. I like freelance because at least I can do what I want and try to have the business I want even if it isn't the most successful I can be. It'll feel the most successful to me.
