I more sensual set taken while at Clairbnb in Vegas. I almost forgot about all these until a friend posted a different photo of me there. I have so much to share! It was a great weekend hanging out with 10 other traveling models/photographers. I felt so free. I mean first I was intimidated by everyone. I was with some of the most amazing models in America (and Canada). My take away is how kind and welcoming the best of the best are. I think the best get to the top by helping each other. We all do better when we're open to each other's successes. I miss them. I miss being around people that are also doing what I'm doing. It's nice being able to relate to someone about work. Traveling modeling can be incredibly lonely. I pass other models by in cities sometimes, and stay at their houses time to time. When I'm back in Georgia, I mostly sit at home by myself working on my next tour. When I'm on tour I spend most of my time working at shoots or driving to them. I am so thankful for all the friendships I've formed through this career, and that list keeps getting longer and closer. Everyone keeps inspiring me: showing me the world through their own photographs, impressing me with the ranges of creativity, and how far hard work can get me one day.
Working with a bunch of other models was great for cutting loose and getting out of my own head. Instead of feeling judged (like I worried, I might), I felt supported and confident. I'd never been around so many other women, and without any men being there. It was a different experience.
