Ugh, what a mess. I run a small manufacturing business, and we see this sort of train wreck all the time. Owner/operators are typically skilled in their field but unsophisticated in the business environment; and the smaller the business the more likely you are to see a personal ego in the drivers seat. That rarely leads to prudent business or legal decisions. It would be best for all involved if this concludes quickly.
