PSA - Change of Patreon Goals in 2020

Ladies and Gentlemen, while we're slowly getting back  to regular broadcasting here, it's time to address the elephant in the room. Over the course of the year it became obvious to me that my current business model was a little bit... optimistic. It just doesn't work out the way I had hoped.

This doesn't mean that I'm quitting (just yet) or that I'll raise the patreon tiers. But I have to be honest: I might have overpromised with the patreon goals - especially the part about animations.

I looked into it, I tried to make it work. But I soon realized that this would take an enormous amount of time and especially Rendering-Power, which I just don't have at the moment - and maybe... never. I will have to put overly ambitious projects like this on halt for the time being and focus on more sustainable goals.

But don't worry. Your tiers and rewards will be untouched by this. You will still be able to see all the pictures just like before. The only thing I will change are the patreon goals. And it will go like this:

Goal 1: 1300 $ basic coverage- this will cover my basic expenses for rent, power, insurance, taxes, internet, food and so on. I will however still have to make commercial comics to cover the expenses for the props and ressources I buy for DAZ Studio.

Goal 2: 2300 $ sustainability - this will take a lot of pressure off me and get rid of the crushing feeling of despair I get every time when I put too much detail into one scene...

Goal 3: 3000$ make the comics free again - as long as we can uphold this  goal, all comics will be free again.

I know this is kinda bold to ask and I made this post into a poll so you can let me know what you think of it, and please do let me know. I'm putting this out there so I can plan ahead and see if this whole thing will work out.

(P.S.: all the goals are in $ and you kinda have to divide them by about 1,3 to know what that's worth in € here >.< )
