Finally! After weeks of trying and testing I reached an at least somewhat satisfying breakthrough for one of my biggest problems when making giantess pictures at the mega-level - the terrain. Admittedly, the texture still looks abysmal but at least the mountains, valleys and ridges now look somewhat realistically. Combined with atmospheric effects and a newly added cloud layer I'm now optimistically that this will improve my mega-renders and finally will crush my writers block so I can continue on the long overdue freebie comic ;)
For those interessted: I found this video which explains how to turn real world height-maps into 3d objects in blender and used it to generate a BIG landscape prop (almost 420 km in diameter) for my giantesses to play with. I hope you like it as well!
