I'm back.

Well, I don't know if anybody noticed, but I've been quiet over the last month(s). The reasons are manifold but to sumn it up - I'm still struggling with the aftermath of my surgery and the doctors still monitor my readings. Yesterday I got another surgery which will hopefully determine if I need chemo-therapy.

But not only my physical health was bothering me, but I was also facing a bit of a "dark mood"... I don't want to call it depression, because it most certainly wasn't that bad. Let's just say I went to the edge, but turned around. Slowly. I learned a lot about people I thought I'd knew and it made me kinda bitter. So for 2019 I decided, I would care less about people whom I have to "pay in pictures" so they'd continue to talk to me. Those are not healthy for me.

I also ran into some kind of writers block as a result of all this and didn't get much done. Some days the sheer act of opening up my rendering-programm caused such massive revulsion within me, I couldn't bring myself to do anything.

Overall I'm very sorry about my lack of content, comment and general interaction, especially for those who stuck faithfully with me on patreon. I'm slowly getting back into it, so you should see more of me from now on.

I'll start by hopping on the bandwagon of this "Art vs. Artist" thingy, which I'm sure by the time you read this has long since passed. But hey. At least I tried, amirite? And it's totally for real! At least most of my U.S.-viewers would agree, I guess ;)

So, here's to a great 2019! Only 2 months in. Huzzah!
