i personally found the dance battle, with mayfly i was like wow, that many members and choreo for all of them with timing etc, for the One team, it was nice, choreo was nice, but only a few of them especially knowing how many great dancers are in the groups, almost made it underwhelming for me

I agree Chunsub is super charismatic and it would be interesting to peek into an alternate universe where he was in the Love Poem performance.

Ah thank you for clarifying! I noticed him in back door performance, honestly his energy was so high I wouldn’t have noticed he was sick at the time. He was one of my favorite idols in the show because his bits were so hilarious

I know I'm super late but I don't see another comment explaining. The reason the other member of BTOB, Chansub was absent for a lot of this episode, the athletic episode and the end of round 2 was because he was sick. He actually performed Back Door while he was sick if you go back and re-watch that performance he was super pale.

I totally feel you. For me, I’m a huge fan of depth and risk in the performance, so the story line, sword catch, and table flip is what sold it for me. But I can’t be mad for the judges for having a preference 😪 Even in dance comps, Korea judging has a different judging criteria than US comps. Definitely a testament to how subjective dance can be.

I think for the dance battle, it was just a personal preference thing. Some of the judges enjoyed the intricacy and elegance of the It's One team, and some of the judges enjoyed the sharpness and the "in your face" intensity of the Mayfly team, y'know? I personally really liked both, but idk... its something about Mayfly's high energy that sold it for me. It's One had a cool lil storyline, tho :)

I'm glad how the program tried to plan the order performances. 2 (covers of the same female artist), 2 (sang their own songs), and 2 (covers of a male artist). You will somehow have a distinct idea of how they tried to pair each group.
