He was a great guy and gave us so many stories to sink our teeth into.
I hoped to have a comic book done in time so that I could meet him one day and show it to him, but now I'll never get that chance.
I'm heartbroken by this news.

While I understand you regretted not being able to meet him and show him your work, I think he still would be proud that you are still trying to pursue writing good stories and creating art.
