Patreon is having some difficulties

This month, Patreon had some issues doing the payment processing, and roughly 20-25% of all patrons across the site had their payments declined even if their payments had worked properly in the past.
At the moment, there is still a lot of speculation going on about the reasons why, but since Patreon hasn't made a statement about it yet, nothing is really confirmed.
If you find that you suddenly cannot access patron-only posts, then that would be why. Some people are saying that they are having success with just clicking to retry their payment, so that would probably be a good first step to try. Others are saying that they needed to call their bank, due to the bank blocking it as potential fraud.
Not sure what else I can add at this point. Until Patreon makes a public statement about the issues, it's going to mostly be a lot of theorizing and speculation going around, so it's hard to say what is fact and what isn't.

Glad to hear that was able to fix it. browser compatibility can be finicky it seems.
