You're 100% correct. If Stephan did half of the things Damon did today, he would be the most hated person on TVD because Stephan is still hated! Even though he's the most level headed Vampire we've seen. He fights his urges, admits when he's wrong, and respects people's choices. Overall, great character.

2024-11-05 21:16:09 +0000 UTCWhat Damon did in this episode is just one of many reasons why I could never be team Delena. Not respecting someone's choices is not really love to me. He did what he did FOR HIMSELF and no one else. He doesn't care about what Elena actually wants, just as long as HE doesn't lose her. He's unbelievably selfish and also so hypocritical because he tortured Stefan for over 100 years and promised him a lifetime of misery for doing a similar thing to him but not half as bad as what Damon did here. I like him a lot of the time but too many people give him a pass for the things he has done (and don't even try to tell me Stefan fans do it AT THE SAME LEVEL). Anyway, Blake predicted vamp Jenna in E17!
