Stefan and Damon's "obsession" with Elena is due to her looking IDENTICAL to Katherine (it's the same actress). Speaking of, that Victoria Justice comment is funny because she and Nina Dobrev are always on these "celebrity doppelgangers" lists. A lot of people think they look alike. Also, I love Igli's pronunciation of StefAAn!

Weird side note, researchers just published a finding in the past week -- they've discovered a common "gut" enzyme which can be used to turn every Blood Type into Type O Negative (Universal Donor), removing all of the antibodies and combination of things that creates Blood Types and makes the whole donor thing weird. If verified by peer review, we could very well end up in 30 years with Gen Z folks talking about "In my day, there were different types of blood donations." and their kids saying, "OK Grandma. Time for your meds." I figured, we're watching Vampires, kinda relevant. But happening in real time.
