FF8 Blue Fields (World Map Theme) - early viewing

Hi there!

I recently started playing some older PS1 titles from my youth. I always loved the Final Fantasy series because of the setting, story and masterful music by Nobuo Uematsu. While playing FF8 and got out of "Balamb Garden" I got very emotional because of this song. I don't know, it just flowed perfectly with the way I was feeling. The mix of melancholy, nostalgia and some kind of "quiet before the storm". The first thing I did was grabbed my guitar and started transcribing it. The main part of the acoustic guitar is very cool and weird to play. After the first few notes I already knew that I must cover this one, because it fits the vibe perfectly. I remember spending hours as a kid playing games without a care in the world. This song takes me back to those days.

I made the video with clips from our trip to Skrzyczne mountain with Mrokat last year (she even has a little cameo here, hehe). This trip was very important to me, because it was just after I quit Czerwone Gitary and felt very overworked and beaten up. I remember that even driving to Sczyrk was a big venture for me after years of touring. I almost got a panic attack after pressing the gas pedal. Mrokat helped me a lot with fighting the anxiety and stress. Walking through the mountains together was a very peaceful experience. I didn't want to put too much shots from the mountains because it's ultimately a guitar cover, but still - this tape means a lot to me. The funniest thing is that the last day of this trip was the day that Enter Sandman started getting viral on Instagram and when I came back home, I pretty much came back to a new life. So as you can see, life can be very random at times...
