Crowd Goes Wild After JPEGMAFIA Debuts Experimental New Hairline

This was originally going to be pitched to The Hard Times, but I figured why should someone with my amount of followers be giving my ideas to less funny places? I can get eyes on it without help. A brief flash of excitement, at any opportunity to get paid to be creative (it's probably a paltry sum, though)

Sorry, another comic that’s going to be pretty much inaccessible for a good chunk of the audience. Go check out the man’s music, if you haven’t already, very cool shit. The joke here is that the man makes very creative, experimental music, and he has a bad hairline, which he sometimes tries to hide in creative ways. Here, his new hairline is experimental, not in the sense that it was created from experimental medical means, but experimental in presentation, analogous to his music. Does that, uh, does that read here clearly at all? Like, he’s dropping a crazy new hairline instead of a crazy new song? I worry I may have gone a little too far down the “funny in my own head” rabbit hole. I didn’t just create the world’s least explicable joke, did I?

I feel a little bad about roasting Peggy for his hairline— its clearly something he is, or at least was, at least a little self-conscious about. One cannot make a sick fucking single about being bald without having at least a little bit of emotional charge to fuel the artistry. Of course, the much funnier thing to make fun of him for are all the turbo-nerd references that somehow make their way into how-hard-me-be type rap songs. Does he think its super cool? Maybe he just keeps going back to that basket because it’s what he knows. Maybe he hates himself for constantly going back to it when he is so desperate to be taken seriously. Or, maybe I should just stop projecting.

There was a thought of maybe showing the hairline— like maybe it would have a sort of zipper seam pattern or something— but I think leaving to the imagination what an ‘experimental hairline’ entails is probably funnier.

I have some better, less niche stuff in the pipeline that just needs a little more time to cook. I’m very excited, so please stay tuned!
