Guide To Comedians
Added 2020-08-12 21:09:33 +0000 UTCTo be honest, I think this one is a little weak relative to my other 'guide' comics, but not enough to trash it. It's just very wordy without the density of jokes I usually aspire to. The art also didn't really turn out how I wanted. But whatever.
The idea of a medieval jester taking on all the affectations of a Comedy Central roast comedian, the most utterly crass and relentless of comics, is worthy of its own strip, tbh. Some goof in striped footy pajamas saying some absolutely wild shit like "Look, I ain't saying the Queen's a whore, but you could easily conquer the celtic hordes by hiding the entire royal army in her fuckin' pussy!" Hard cut to the queen, who I assume is like fifteen years old in this time period, just looking utterly stunned. You get the picture.

More of a sensible chuckle than a rolf, it was enough to make me go through the nonsense ofnlogging in to patreon over phone and verifying and then logging in to post this comment. That's the power of that last panel (and the "standup comedian who learned to use a computer" bit).
