Democrats Unveil 2020 Racial Justice Platform

Even though my stance on the issue is pretty clear and I'm doing my best to only punch-up, as it were, I worry if people are going to be upset about referencing goofy stuff like the Mucinex Man, or doing a drawing of a statue in blackface. Is that divorced enough from the real thing to make it okay? I guess we'll see. I haven't yet had to issue an apology for any joke I made, so let's see if I can keep the streak up. The thing about police wearing 'Black Lives Matter' on their uniform is absolutely going to happen in real life, if it hasn't already.
The last panel was originally going to have the character's thought bubble, and then another one where he goes "well, I guess that's something" but I thought it might be a bad look for a white guy to make a black character fantasizing about white people killing themselves. So instead he essentially just accurately predicts what will occur if these bills pass, world-weary in the knowledge that aside from that, no real change will occur. The face says it all.
