This is one of those ideas that is satirical, sure, but also leans heavily into absurdist imagery; its jokes like these that I'm unsure are quite as funny outside of my own head- the concept could be improved by providing proper context, movement, and comic timing, such that I think it might be funnier as a skit, for example.
I would really like some way to illustrate the goofiness of this heroic, godlike being descended to a choir of trumpets to this blasted hellscape, saying nothing, then belting out some Pavarotti- type shit, and promptly leaving in the exact manner he came, as the camera cuts to the peasant's reaction faces, showing an expression of "wait- is that- is that it?" or "uhh...okay".
In the comic, I couldn't quite convey that, so I went for an ironic route- the peasant's ADORE the song, and break out into old-timey jubilation, the beautiful ballad raising their spirits and cleansing their soul. Irony! Its a phrase that has become almost meaningless, but a tool that perhaps I should employ in more of my satire- I'd like to think it adds a bit more bite.
