Devlog #8: Lookback at the first release and how we will move forward

Intro,

Hello there, fellow perverts and gooners! Sorry, but I won't be starting off with a rhyme or song as Nathan said in his August stuff post. We went to a fantasy fair. Meaning I was also behind schedule in making this log. (Yeah, believe it or not, we usually do TRY to get one out the first of every month. No, we don't usually succeed.

Lookback,

First of all, as a start. We got some reviews from y'all. A solid score of 8.22/10!!!! Better than I ever could have hoped. Put a pep in my step! We also found out your guys' fav character is Brandon/Brandy! Unfortunately, there were also a few bugs found. But nothing too game-breaking. Overall, it was a good first release that really boosted our confidence!

Future plans,

For the future development of this game. We are pleased to tell y'all that the full script for the second release is already written and ready to put into place! Our main problem is that we still need to figure out how to properly integrate a phone into the game. A few of you who own the game will probably have seen something else as well. We are going to add achievements! Meaning I get to learn how to add Steam achievements into this game! We hope to get the first few in with the following updates.

Future releases

With this new monthly Gender Gamers! tier, it wouldn't be fair not to give regular updates on the game. So from now on, we will try to have a bi-monthly release schedule. To be clear. This is a goal, not a promise. Though if we deviate from it. We will let you all know.

The stream,

The results of the poll were clear. On Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 9:00 PM (CEST or GMT+2), we will be streaming the developers' commentary of this game on the TGedNathans Domain Discord. We have also decided to open it up to more members. Now, the polls and behind-the-scenes roles will be able to watch too! I may try to record it to post somewhere else later, but no promises.
