September game plan

Okay, as previously announced, the new 'season' of An Offer He Can't Refuse is going to be the main project for the month.

So far, I've started planning out the next few chapters, trying to get a sense of all the plot points that need to be included, figuring out what's going to happen, when it's going to happen and so on. The general story line is kinda coming together, at least in my mind, and that's the good news.

The bad news is that I've had to pause all the work on the new AOHCR chapters last week, because I'm feeling pretty burned out.

I more or less managed to white-knuckle my way through June and July, and most of August, but now I really need a little break. Having been very stressed for a decently long while now, I don't have enough focus and energy and inspiration to put into a new long-spanning project such as AOHCR, especially since the 'new season' is full of interesting and fun ideas that deserve to be developed well, which is what I intend to do, once I have what it takes to do a good job of it.

So yeah, unfortunately I won't be actually starting the new chapter just yet, not for at least another week. I apologize for the delay, and believe me, it annoys the hell out of me too! But yeah, it is what it is: there really isn't much that I can do about it, except trying to slow down a little and rest up as much as I can, so that I can come back refreshed and ready to go.

Initially, I've tried to focus on the Nancy vignette first, since it's a much lighter project, but I've had to put that on the back burner too. It certainly is an easier task to tackle, yes, but in my current situation, even handling that story turned out to be much harder than it normally would be. Also, if I'm gonna relax and replenish my strength, I might as well do it properly. So yeah, that's paused too.

Again, I'm sorry for the delay, I really am, but I do need a little time off.
