Almost done! Kinda...

So, as it turns out, the new chapter is going to be much longer than I initially planned or expected it to be, which is not much of a surprise...

That wouldn't have been too big a deal if I hadn't just come out of a very tough couple of weeks. I won't go into details, obviously, but of course the bottom line is that I ended up having even less time to focus on writing than I anticipated. Long story short, there is no realistic way I can write down the rest of the chapter and also edit it in full before the end of the month. No way.

But there's a silver lining: even though I've only got half of the chapter written down so far, that half still totals up to a solid 10k words, with a decent amount of juicy action in them too! That should do for a fine Part 1 of Cul-de-sac Moms Ch. 4, I think.

So here's what I'm going to do: having reached a good stopping point today, I'll pause the writing here for now and instead start the editing process tomorrow. That way I can realistically think of getting at least Part 1 of the new chapter posted by the end of the week, that is, by the end of June, more or less as planned...
