Remember when I mentioned that a little group scene had kinda sneaked its way into the initial part of Weird Sisters Ch. 8? Well, that scene turned out to be not really so little after all!

Long story short, I had fun with that idea and it kinda expanded into a much bigger scene than I originally intended, which led me to a decision: rather than writing the final 'proposal scene' right away, I'm going to split the chapter into two parts, with Part 1 ending right after the group scene, which I finished yesterday.

I still want this chapter to end with Jeff asking Deb to marry him (and the sex scene that ensues, of course), but I'm not sure that I can write that part and edit the whole chapter by the end of the month, that is, by the end of next week. And, since the chapter so far is already above 13K words, I think that posting Part 1 right away does make sense, since it could work as a chapter in and of itself anyway. Then, once Part 2 is done too and the whole thing comes together, it will be a super chapter!

Based on what I intend to include in it, I expect Part 2 to be much shorter than Part 1, so I think it's fairly realistic to think that I could finish Part 2, edit it and finally post it at some point during the first couple weeks of March. But we'll cross that bridge when we reach it.

Meanwhile, I'm already editing Part 1 and I expect to start posting Previews this weekend, meaning that at some point next week the first half (more like three quarters, really) of this huge Weird Sisters chapter will be ready and readable!
