Black Beach Siren
Added 2025-06-16 14:00:03 +0000 UTCThe versatile and ever-wonderful Wiana model on one of the Black Beaches in Lanzarote. I wanted a “dark” look to complement the environment, and I went for a more dramatic look, both because we were shooting early afternoon when the sun was high and because I thought the entire scene and sky called for a bit of drama.
As I struck off bad luck (forgetfulness really), I failed to pack my go-to 24-70mm and only brought a 16-35mm lens, so all these were shot with this lens, also contributing to my strategy.
All in all, I like a couple of these, especially the first and sixth. They both have a bit of drama and relatively clean backgrounds, and the model looks fantastic.
