Black Betty

I shot this set last year around my two Lanzarote workshops on one of the island’s incredible black beaches, which are always striking to shoot on.
OBS: I've just announced two new workshops on Lanzarote in September/October.

Black backgrounds are fantastic for accentuating the model and creating visually stunning results.
It does look tranquil, but right off the shore, giant waves were crashing as the tide was rolling in. Shooting in conditions like this is fun, but it can also be challenging - and even dangerous - if you don’t pay close attention.
All the models ended up getting completely immersed at one time or another during the black beach shot.
They barely made it this time.
The Endless Sinner didn't, though - full faceplant a second after. 💦💦💦
