These are from my first shoot with Venud De Sierra, now known as V Wild Art.
We had tried to get to work together for years, but logistics failed.
Then, I was going to the US and set off a few days before other engagements.
Kaela was supposed to be at a festival at Jtree Campsite.
She offered to set up a tent for me, but the logistics of driving 3 hours - after an 18-hour flight - and then trying to find a random tent in pitch black campsite you've never been to, at 2 A.m., right next to Rattlesnake Canyon, were too daunting.
So I overnighted in a dump in LA near the airport, picked up another model at 8 AM, and drove to Jtree.
Incidentally, the other model got stomach flu, poor girl, so I only managed a short shoot with her.
You can kind of tell from this image.
I had rented an Airbnb called The Tile House in 27 Palms, nearby.

After the day's shoot, we all went to dinner and stayed at the house.
Then, we did a 5-8 a.m. shoot in a bathtub in the desert and at the home.
That was a mad place.
