I'll freely admit I have a weakness for dark skin:
With just a bit of semi-hard light, the lushness and tonality pop out, to a degree impossible with fairer skin.
The light on all of these are the same:
Sun streaming in through two windows in an older studio but with varying degrees of clouds passing in front of the sun.
ƒ3.5-4.5 1/160
I have a love/hate relationship with this kind of light:
On the one hand, I love the variability you can get simply by having clouds moving past.
On the other hand, I hate not having control and often do not have enough time with one light type to explore the possibilities.
The needle veers more toward love, though I still find the variability of daylight excellent, and exploring light on bodies is a constant source of inspiration.
