The Trooper
Added 2024-12-17 15:00:02 +0000 UTCWe shot this set in some bunkers on the west coast of Jylland. They are remnants of the German occupation in WW2.
Lilith and I had an afternoon and half a day the next day (this series) so we couldn’t wait for the weather to improve, except for the hours or so we sat huddled up in the car waiting for the real rain to stop,
We did a couple of lovely sets around this bunker, and it looks all fine and dandy.
Still, when you look at the BTS video (screenshot below, which does nothing to show the howling wind), you realize how badass some art models are when they are putting it out there under the most shitty conditions.
When I edited this, I removed the green algae (using Hue/Saturation in Photoshop). It didn’t play well with Lilith's skin tone, and the only suitable alternative would have been to make the images monochrome.
I tried both options but ended up using this approach.
