๐ this brings me back. I was definitely that kid that made things sound awful or look it. Got CPS called on the wrong parent because my mom primarily took care of me, but she had 3 jobs and I was a demon, so there things like me having behavior issues (combo ADHD + Autism) never brushed my hair because it was so painful from overstimulation issues, I was never dressed "properly" because either I'd wear what I wanted despite my mom picking something out, or we'd fight all morning about going to school that I'd have to go in my pj's in order to make it on time (mom had to work too) and I was NEVER getting my homework done, because I'd literally feed it to the dog or "lose it" on the way home. It came to a head when I told a teacher "my mom never feeds me" when I meant "my mom never cooks anything I like or feel like I can eat because I don't like the textures or overwhelming flavor, so I refuse to eat anything but hot dogs at home." And ya, no.. nobody could force me to do anything. If I didn't want to eat, I'd be at the kitchen table until 2am if mom tried to enforce the whole "you don't leave the table until you eat something" rule parents do. So ya, there was a whole period we were getting checked up on by CPS, going to family counseling and I was being observed/studied by teachers and psychologists and I didn't even know it ๐ (I thought it was a type of reward or playtime because all the docs just wanted to play games. How I got my diagnoses, buy also in retrospect, not sure how they NEVER looked at my father as the problematic parent?) I would pull that kinda stuff out of my hat all the time though ๐ instead of "I don't like to brush my hair" it was "my parents don't brush my hair" or my favorite, when my mom tried to put earrings in my already pierced ears while I was still asleep, I called her a monster and told people she "pierced my ears in my sleep" or "stabbed me with earrings in my sleep" all because I thought they were too girly.. ๐ซฃ I'm the primary reason I don't want kids lol

One might've thought that Horis more "aggressive Side" came all from her dad, but it Shows she has a Lot from her Mom too. - And I agree with Wes: i'd Like To have an entire spinoff about her parents.
