He was spotted by another man who entered the restroom and assaulted him. The man later claimed to be "transitioning" and had no ill intent towards the young girls in the restroom. Subsequently the man who assaulted him was charged with a hate crime, was convicted and now is facing no less than 5yrs 10 months.
